TRIPTYCHUM MATERIAE è un progetto che indaga la materia come principio generativo e trasformativo dell’essenza umana. Attraverso la forma del trittico, l’opera propone tre stati simbolici – Luna, Sole, Terra – che corrispondono a differenti livelli di percezione, energia e linguaggio.
La materia, qui intesa come entità attiva e autonoma, assorbe e ridefinisce il corpo e la coscienza. Elementi organici e frammenti umani si fondono con forme geometriche pure (cono, sfera, cilindro), creando un dialogo tra caos e controllo, istinto e astrazione.
L’assenza di una narrazione lineare apre a una dimensione sospesa, in cui l’identità si dissolve per lasciare spazio a nuove possibilità percettive. In TRIPTYCHUM MATERIAE l’essere umano non è rappresentato, ma trasformato, diventando materia tra le materie, in un processo di annullamento e rinascita.
Project Statement
TRIPTYCHUM MATERIAE is a project that explores matter as a generative and transformative principle of human essence. Through the form of a triptych, the work proposes three symbolic states—Moon, Sun, Earth—that correspond to different levels of perception, energy, and language.
Matter, here understood as an active and autonomous entity, absorbs and redefines the body and consciousness. Organic elements and human fragments merge with pure geometric forms (cone, sphere, cylinder), creating a dialogue between chaos and control, instinct and abstraction.
The absence of a linear narrative opens onto a suspended dimension, in which identity dissolves to make room for new perceptive possibilities. In TRIPTYCHUM MATERIAE, the human being is not represented, but transformed, becoming matter among materials, in a process of annihilation and rebirth.
