TECHNO URBS indaga l’esistenza contemporanea attraverso la metafora del circuito elettronico e della struttura urbana. Come nelle schede elettroniche, la vita sembra scorrere lungo percorsi predefiniti, regolata da un sistema binario che organizza, indirizza e ottimizza ogni movimento. Le città diventano così mappe funzionali dell’esistenza, reti di flussi in cui l’individuo si muove come un impulso all’interno di un sistema più ampio.
L’apparente caos dell’esperienza quotidiana rivela un ordine sottostante, fatto di regole invisibili, automatismi e vincoli che orientano le scelte e definiscono i margini del possibile. In questo contesto, la libertà assume una forma ambigua: ogni deviazione dal tracciato stabilito appare come un errore di sistema, una disfunzione potenzialmente destabilizzante.
Il progetto riflette sul rapporto tra essere umano, tecnologia e spazio urbano, interrogando i meccanismi di controllo, adattamento e dipendenza che caratterizzano la società tecnologica. TECHNO URBS non propone una narrazione lineare, ma un campo di tensione tra ordine e incertezza, efficienza e fragilità, in cui il fluido della vita continua a scorrere, cercando possibili crepe all’interno del circuito.
Project Statement
TECHNO URBS investigates contemporary existence through the metaphor of the electronic circuit and urban structure. As in electronic boards, life appears to flow along predefined paths, regulated by a binary system that organizes, directs, and optimizes every movement. Cities thus become functional maps of existence, networks of flows in which the individual moves like a signal within a larger system.
The apparent chaos of everyday experience reveals an underlying order, composed of invisible rules, automatisms, and constraints that shape choices and define the boundaries of what is possible. Within this framework, freedom takes on an ambiguous form: any deviation from the established path appears as a system error, a malfunction potentially capable of destabilizing the whole.
The project reflects on the relationship between human beings, technology, and urban space, questioning the mechanisms of control, adaptation, and dependence that characterize technological society. TECHNO URBS does not propose a linear narrative, but rather a field of tension between order and uncertainty, efficiency and fragility, in which the fluid of life continues to flow, searching for possible cracks within the circuit.
