Spiriti Sfuggenti esplora il fragile confine tra presenza e dissoluzione, tra ciò che il corpo rivela e ciò che la luce sottrae. Le figure emergono da un buio denso come una memoria, attraversate da vibrazioni luminose che ne alterano la forma, trasformandole in presenze instabili, quasi evocate.

Ogni gesto diventa traccia, eco, apparizione: non un movimento congelato, ma il suo fantasma.

La serie non ricerca l’identità, ma l’energia che la precede e la segue. Nei contrasti estremi, nei tagli improvvisi, nei lampi di dettaglio, si manifesta una tensione intima, sensuale, talvolta inquieta, che non imita la realtà ma la supera. La fotografia smette di essere descrizione per diventare attraversamento: un luogo in cui il corpo non è rappresentato, ma convocato.

In questo dialogo tra luce e ombra, Spiriti Sfuggenti restituisce un universo emotivo in cui ciò che non si vede pesa quanto ciò che appare. Le opere chiedono allo spettatore non di guardare, ma di lasciarsi guardare da ciò che tenta di svanire.

Project Statement

Spiriti Sfuggenti explores the fragile boundary between presence and dissolution, between what the body reveals and what the light erases. Figures emerge from a dense, memory‑like darkness, crossed by luminous vibrations that bend their form into unstable, almost summoned presences.

Each gesture becomes a trace, an echo, an apparition—not a frozen moment, but its lingering ghost.

The series does not seek identity; it seeks the energy that precedes and follows it. In the stark contrasts, abrupt cuts, and sudden flashes of detail, an intimate, sensual, and at times restless tension unfolds—one that does not imitate reality, but transcends it. Photography ceases to describe and instead becomes an act of passage: a space where the body is not represented but invoked.

Within this dialogue of light and shadow, Spiriti Sfuggenti reveals an emotional landscape in which what remains unseen weighs as heavily as what emerges. The works invite the viewer not merely to look, but to be looked at by what is on the verge of vanishing.
