Questo progetto rappresenta il compendio di uno studio sui fiori durato diversi anni.
Flores nasce da un’osservazione lenta e attenta del fiore come forma primaria di espressione della vita. Attraverso il linguaggio fotografico, il progetto indaga la complessità di un elemento naturale che, nella sua apparente semplicità, racchiude una densità formale ed emotiva profonda.
Forme, colori e strutture vegetali diventano il luogo di un incontro tra sguardo e materia, in cui l’atto fotografico si configura come gesto di ascolto e di rispetto. Il fiore non è inteso come soggetto decorativo, ma come presenza viva, capace di evocare stati emotivi e riflessioni esistenziali.
Come artista mi avvicino al soggetto con attenzione e delicatezza, riconoscendo nel tempo e nella cura elementi fondamentali del processo creativo. Ogni immagine è il risultato di un dialogo silenzioso, in cui l’osservazione si trasforma in interpretazione e la realtà naturale si carica di significato simbolico.
Flores propone una riflessione sulla vita come equilibrio fragile e armonico, suggerendo che concetti complessi quali nascita, trasformazione e bellezza possano essere intuiti attraverso la contemplazione di un singolo fiore. Nei petali, nei colori e nelle strutture organiche si riflette una condizione universale, capace di parlare tanto alla dimensione intima quanto a quella collettiva dell’esperienza umana.
Project Statement
This project represents the culmination of a multi-year study of flowers.
Flores was born from a slow and careful observation of flowers as a primary form of expression of life. Through the medium of photography, the project explores the complexity of a natural element that, in its apparent simplicity, embodies a profound formal and emotional density.
Shapes, colors, and plant structures become the site of an encounter between gaze and matter, where the photographic act becomes a gesture of listening and respect. The flower is not intended as a decorative subject, but as a living presence, capable of evoking emotional states and existential reflections.
As an artist, I approach the subject with attention and delicacy, recognizing time and care as fundamental elements of the creative process. Each image is the result of a silent dialogue, in which observation transforms into interpretation and natural reality is imbued with symbolic meaning.
Flores offers a reflection on life as a fragile and harmonious balance, suggesting that complex concepts such as birth, transformation, and beauty can be intuited through the contemplation of a single flower. The petals, colors, and organic structures reflect a universal condition, capable of speaking to both the intimate and collective dimensions of human experience.
