Ho cercato negli occhi lo spirito libero e primordiale della femmina, ho trovato invece l'angoscia di una mente prigioniera.

DICHIARAZIONE DI PROGETTO

Femina Femina è un’indagine sulla forma archetipica del femminile inteso come principio generativo e dissolutivo, come forza che dà origine alla materia ma, allo stesso tempo, ne rivela la precarietà. Non rappresenta un individuo, né un’identità; evoca una qualità primordiale dell’esistenza: quella di un’origine che continuamente si disgrega per poter tornare a trasformarsi.

Le figure del ciclo emergono da superfici instabili, strati corrosi, vibrazioni materiche. Non sono ritratti: sono apparizioni, affioramenti momentanei in cui la presenza sembra lottare contro la propria cancellazione. La materia attorno si comporta come un campo caotico che ora accoglie, ora inghiotte, in un dinamismo che mette in tensione la forma e la sua dissoluzione.

Il “femminile” qui è inteso come matrice del possibile, come spazio interiore in cui tutto si forma e tutto può collassare: una dimensione in cui il caos non è disordine, ma processo vitale, condizione per ogni nascita. Le immagini mostrano figure che non cercano definizione, ma trasmissione: attraversano il confine tra visibile e invisibile, trasformandosi in segni, crepe, tracce, spiragli di un mondo interiore che preme sulla superficie.

In Femmina Femmina il volto è un luogo di transito.

Ciò che vediamo non è un’identità, ma una presenza cosmica, una forma che tenta di emergere dal caos esistenziale e, nel farlo, ne porta le cicatrici, i rumori, i residui. Nella Fotografia del Caos, la materia non è soltanto sfondo: è memoria, ambiente psichico, energia in divenire. Il femminile si manifesta come potenza metamorfica, come forza che genera e disgrega, un principio che non smette di confondersi con ciò che lo circonda.

Il ciclo diventa così una meditazione sulla fragilità e la rinascita, sulla necessità di lasciarsi attraversare dal caos per poter continuare a emergere. Un luogo in cui l’immagine non rappresenta, ma riporta in vita una tensione antica: quella tra ciò che tenta di definirsi e ciò che inevitabilmente ritorna all’indistinto.

PROJECT STATEMENT

Femina Femina is an inquiry into the archetypal form of the feminine, understood as a generative and dissolutive principle— a force that brings matter into being while simultaneously revealing its fragility. It does not represent an individual, nor an identity; rather, it evokes a primordial quality of existence, the sense of an origin that continuously disintegrates in order to transform itself again.

The figures in this cycle emerge from unstable surfaces, corroded layers, and vibrating textures. They are not portraits; they are apparitions, momentary surfacings in which presence seems to struggle against its own erasure. The surrounding matter behaves like a chaotic field that alternately welcomes and engulfs, creating a dynamic tension between form and its dissolution.

Here, the “feminine” is conceived as a matrix of possibility, an inner space in which everything takes shape and everything can collapse. It is a dimension in which chaos is not disorder but a vital process, a prerequisite for every act of emergence. The images depict figures that do not seek definition but transmission— crossing the threshold between the visible and the invisible, transforming themselves into marks, cracks, traces, openings into an interior world pressing against the surface.

In Femina Femina, the face becomes a passageway.

What we see is not an identity, but a cosmic presence— a form attempting to rise out of existential chaos and, in doing so, carrying its scars, its noise, its remnants. In Photography of Chaos, matter is not merely a background: it is memory, psychic environment, energy in becoming. The feminine manifests as a metamorphic force, one that generates and disintegrates, a principle that never ceases to blend with what surrounds it.

The series becomes a meditation on fragility and rebirth, on the necessity of being permeated by chaos in order to emerge again. It is a place in which the image does not represent, but brings back to life an ancient tension: the one between what attempts to define itself and what inevitably returns to the indistinct.
