Every form is recognised through categories that experience has taught us to consider familiar. When those forms are transformed, our ability to identify them begins to falter. Exogenus Vita explores this boundary, questioning the relationship between matter and the way we perceive it.
By transforming floral forms, the images generate configurations that seem to belong to a natural order not yet known. They do not propose imaginary organisms or depict alternative realities. Instead, they invite reflection on how deeply our categories influence the identities we assign to forms.
Rather than representing a different kind of matter, Exogenus Vita challenges our own perception, suggesting that the limit may not belong to matter itself, but to the frameworks through which we have learned to recognise it.
