Il progetto indaga il concetto di forza esogena come agente di trasformazione della materia. Attraverso l'elaborazione grafica della fotografia, la forma naturale del fiore viene sottoposta a un processo di alterazione visiva che ne sospende la funzione originaria.
L’immagine non documenta, ma agisce: la fotografia diventa lo spazio in cui la materia perde stabilità e si riconfigura in forme ibride, autonome, non più riconducibili a una botanica reale.
I fiori vengono così sottratti alla loro condizione organica e restituiti come presenze ambigue, vitali e artificiali al tempo stesso, espressione di una natura reinterpretata e resa estranea.
Project Statement
The project explores the concept of exogenous force as an agent of transformation of matter. Through the graphic elaboration of photography, the natural form of the flower is subjected to a process of visual alteration that suspends its original function.
The image does not document, but acts: photography becomes the space in which matter loses stability and reconfigures itself into hybrid, autonomous forms, no longer attributable to real botany.
The flowers are thus removed from their organic state and restored as ambiguous presences, simultaneously vital and artificial, the expression of a reinterpreted and alienated nature.
