Il mio lavoro indaga il corpo come luogo di tensione, trasformazione e perdita di identità.
Attraverso la fotografia costruisco immagini che non cercano la rappresentazione, ma la frattura: il corpo diventa superficie emotiva, materia vulnerabile, spazio simbolico in cui convivono controllo e abbandono.

La figura umana è privata di un contesto riconoscibile e immersa in ambienti astratti, corrosi, stratificati. Le texture, le abrasioni e le alterazioni cromatiche non sono effetti decorativi, ma segni di un processo: tracce di un tempo interiore, di una memoria che si deteriora, di un’identità in continua mutazione. L’immagine finale è il risultato di una sovrapposizione di gesti, come una pelle che conserva cicatrici.
Le pose del corpo oscillano tra immobilità e tensione, tra protezione e esposizione. Le mani, il volto, la postura diventano strumenti di un linguaggio non verbale che racconta stati emotivi primari: vulnerabilità, desiderio, rabbia, resistenza. L’introduzione della maschera amplifica questa ricerca, suggerendo una riflessione sull’identità come costruzione, come spazio ambiguo tra ciò che viene mostrato e ciò che viene nascosto.
Il mio approccio si colloca tra fotografia fine art, performance e pittura materica. L’immagine fotografica viene trattata come un corpo a sua volta: lavorato, consumato, trasformato. In questo processo, il confine tra bellezza e inquietudine rimane deliberatamente instabile.
Il mio lavoro non propone risposte, ma crea una sospensione. Un territorio visivo in cui lo spettatore è invitato a confrontarsi con la propria percezione del corpo, dell’identità e della fragilità umana.
Project Statement
My work explores the body as a site of tension, transformation, and the dissolution of identity. Through photography, I construct images that do not aim to represent, but to fracture: the body becomes an emotional surface, a vulnerable material, a symbolic space in which control and surrender coexist.
The human figure is stripped of any recognizable context and immersed in abstract, eroded, stratified environments. Textures, abrasions, and chromatic alterations are not decorative interventions, but traces of a process—marks of inner time, deteriorating memory, and identity in constant mutation. The final image emerges through accumulation, like a skin that retains its scars.
Posture and gesture oscillate between stillness and tension, protection and exposure. Hands, faces, and bodily attitudes function as a non-verbal language, articulating primal emotional states such as vulnerability, desire, rage, and resistance. The introduction of the mask intensifies this investigation, suggesting identity as a constructed and unstable condition—an ambiguous space between what is revealed and what is concealed.
My practice exists at the intersection of fine art photography, performance, and material-based painting. The photographic image itself is treated as a body: worked, worn, and transformed. In this process, the boundary between beauty and unease remains deliberately unstable.
Rather than offering answers, my work creates a suspension—a visual territory in which the viewer is invited to confront their own perception of the body, identity, and human fragility.
