CONCEPTUM
Conceptum explores the invisible bond through which essence takes form in matter.
Existence becomes perceptible through forms, yet what manifests itself cannot necessarily be reduced to the matter through which it appears. Between the invisible and the visible, between essence and form, lies a relationship that cannot be directly observed, but only perceived.
Conceptum explores this threshold. Human presence and the forms of nature enter into a process of visual osmosis, gradually losing the boundaries that separate them. Their compenetration does not represent a physical fusion, but gives visible form to a deeper relationship between what exists beyond appearance and the matter through which it becomes manifest.
The images inhabit the tension between the immaterial and the material. The human figure remains recognisable, yet its boundaries become permeable, opening towards a dimension that exceeds its physical form. Matter is no longer merely substance: it becomes the place in which an invisible essence acquires presence.
Through the conceptual transformation of the photographic image, Conceptum creates a perceptual space where this relationship can emerge. What cannot be represented directly becomes perceptible through the encounter and osmosis of forms.
The project does not seek to define the nature of essence, nor to resolve the relationship between the immaterial and the material. It explores the moment in which the invisible enters the visible and, through matter, becomes presence.
