ATTRACTIO
Attraction is a vital energy, one of the fundamental forces through which life generates relationships, transforms itself, and continues.
Long before it belongs to humanity, attraction belongs to nature. It guides encounters and draws living forms towards one another. From the attraction between plants and insects to that between animals and human beings, life continually creates relationships through forces that precede consciousness and intention.
Attractio explores this primordial dimension. The body is not presented as an object of desire, but as the place where the force of attraction becomes perceptible through forms, gestures, postures, and details. Seduction thus loses its exclusively human meaning and emerges as one of the strategies through which life seeks itself.
Attraction is not expressed solely through beauty or harmony. In nature, it may take the form of colour, movement, mimicry, artifice, and even deception. Each image investigates a different manifestation of this universal principle, suspending the boundary between instinct, perception, and relationship.
Photography does not depict seduction. It makes perceptible one of the fundamental energies through which life continually creates relationships and perpetuates itself.
