SURREAL DIMENSION
Often I am happy to imagine situations that go beyond sensitive reality, free from the inhibitory brakes of aesthetics and morals. It is a path that I consider necessary for every artist worthy of the name and for every person who loves art in general. When we talk about art, in fact, we explore our emotions and certainly not the rational aspects of a composition.
Here then is that fantastic images are created in the mind, which may seem strange, absurd, dreamlike, yet even in this conceptual dimension each of the evoked atmospheres finds precise points of reference in complex humanity. And if the mind processes apparently incomprehensible information, it is in the subconscious that I can find those answers denied by rationality.
The surreal is within each of us because it is the ideal dimension in which we can live our deepest drives.
