Antichi nomi dei fiumi riecheggiano a volte dalle pagine della storia. Nel corso del tempo questi nomi sono spesso cambiati, ma rimangono intatti i percorsi e le vicissitudini di cui sono stati artefici. Percorsi di vita e storie di popoli cristallizzati nel tempo e nel lento fluire delle loro acque. Acque intrise di commerci, di guerre e di rivalse. I fiumi, come i mari, sono le strade percorse dalla storia dell'umanità.
Project statement
Ancient river names sometimes echo from the pages of history. Over time, these names have often changed, but the paths and vicissitudes they shaped remain intact. Life paths and stories of peoples frozen in time and in the slow flow of their waters. Waters steeped in trade, war, and revenge. Rivers, like the seas, are the paths traveled by human history.
